Abby Christine Stark

Abby Christine Stark, age 41 of Wahpeton, ND, formerly of Grafton, ND passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at her home in Wahpeton.

Abby Christine Stark was born July 20, 1978 in Grafton, North Dakota, the daughter of Steven Stark and the late Valerie (Havis) Stark.  She graduated from Grafton High School and attended Northland Community Technical College in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.  She returned to Grafton and had her children, Ava and Rocco. She worked at the AmericInn and the Lutheran Sunset Home. In 2007, she met the love of her life, James Campbell.  The couple moved to Wahpeton.  On February 21, 2019, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and fought a courageous battle.

She was a member of the Grafton Lutheran Church.  Abby loved her children, loved to laugh, jokes and America’s Funniest Home Videos.  She was super crafty and liked to refurbish old things, walking, outdoors and country cruising.

Abby is survived by her children:  Ava Hepokoski, Edinburg, ND; Rocco Hepokoski, Edinburg, ND; father, Steven Stark, Grafton, ND; the love of her life, James Campbell, Wahpeton, ND; James’ daughter, Peytun Campbell, Grand Forks, ND; the father of her children, John Hepokoski, Edinburg, ND.  Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Valerie Stark; paternal grandparents, Gordon and Donna Stark; maternal grandparents, James and Vivian Havis.

Memorial services will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
