John R. “Jackie” Dub, age 80 of Fordville, ND passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the First Care Health Center of Park River.
John R. Dub was born December 3, 1935, the son of the late Rudolph and Marie (Hajicek) Dub. He lived in Pisek, Park River and Fordville. John was in the U.S. Army and served two tours in Vietnam. John joined the National Guard and went to Desert Storm. John retired from the National Guard. He worked for Simplot and was a truck driver. John enjoyed reading and watching movies.
John is survived by his niece and nephews: Betty (Steve) Sondrol, East Grand Forks, MN; Marvin Momerak, Greenbush, MN; Mike (Kristi) Momerak, West Fargo, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Celesta “Sally (Glenn) Momerak, brother, Rudolph Dub, Jr., nephews Donny and Tom Momerak.
Per John’s request, no services will be held. Burial services are pending.
