Karen Kay Welsh

Karen K. Welsh, age 67 of Thief River Falls, MN and formerly of Grafton, ND passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Thief River Falls Care Center.

Karen Kay Nybo was born August 30, 1949 in Grafton, ND the daughter of the late Art and Annie (Rachac) Nybo. She grew up and attended school in Grafton. Following her education she worked at the Life Skills and Transition Center. She later moved to Thief River Falls, MN and worked for Falls DAC for over 15 years. She was forced to retire due to her health.

Karen is survived by her son, Neil, Thief River Falls, MN; five grandchildren: Kelsey Welsh, Joshua Welsh, Craig Welsh, Andrea Welsh and Casey Welsh; three great grandchildren: Madison Soli, Cole Welsh and Tyler Tucker.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hoople, ND.
