Daniel Sandoval
Daniel Lee Sandoval, age 17, of Adams, passed away on Saturday, April 19 at First Care Health Center, Park River.
Daniel was born in Leesburg, Virginia on January 24, 1991 to Gabriel Sandoval and Jessica DeLaRosa. He lived in San Marcos, Texas until October 13, 2007 when he moved to Adams to live with his loving aunt and uncle, DeAnna and Dale McConnell. Daniel attended Adams-Edmore High School, Edmore.
Daniel enjoyed boxing, skateboarding, and weight-lifting. Since moving to Adams, he enjoyed many new activities including hunting, fishing, snowboarding, ice fishing, and snowmobiling. Daniel was on the baseball team and scored a home run during their winning game on April 18. Daniel lived life to the fullest, always trying new things and having a great time. Daniel was true friend; he was always there for others whether cooking awesome burritos, making fellow students laugh in the high school hallways, or just hanging out.
A week ago, Daniel attended the prom. He came home saying,"That was the best night of my life." Daniel was looking forward to entering the National Guard after graduation. He was also a firm believer in organ donation, and his organs have provided life to countless people. He had a big heart. A heart that gave to all who knew him, both during life and after death.
Daniel is survived by Dale and DeAnna, of Adams; his parents, brother Joshua Ybarra, sister Hope Sandoval, all of Texas. Daniel was sincerely loved by his community, friends, and classmates. They will always remember D. A memorial service will be held at Adams-Edmore High School on Tuesday, April 22 at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be in Texas.
The Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River is in charge of the local arrangements.
