Lyle Mondry Lyle W. Mondry, age 61 of Minto, ND passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks. Lyle W. Mondry was born July 16, 1946 in Grafton, ND the son of the late William and Mary (Peterson) Mondry. He grew up and attended schools in Minto, ND. Following his education he served with the North Dakota National Guard. Lyle was united in marriage to Mary Rudnik on April 27, 1968 in Warsaw, ND. The couple made their home in Minto where Lyle worked for the WLA Grain Company from 1961 ??? 1977. He then worked as the Bulk Fuel Manager for Flanders Oil for 18 years. From 2000 to the present he was working as the maintenance man for Valley Sunrise Properties. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Minto, ND where he served on the Cemetery Board, the Parish Council and served as usher. He was also a member of the Minto American Legion Post #201. He is survived by his wife Mary of Minto, ND; daughters: Marlene (Daniel) Motter, Clifford, ND; Ann Mondry, East Grand Forks ,MN; Lynn (DJ) Motteberg, Fargo, ND; Amy (Jared) Dreier, Chaska, MN; Jenny Mondry, Fargo, ND; five grandchildren: Alex and Lexy Kleven, Mackenzie Motter, Alivia Dreier, and Lukas Motteberg; brother Allen Mondry, Grafton, ND; sisters: Kay Theroux, Minto, ND; Shirlee (Tom) Thompson, Janesville, IA; MaryEllen (Gene) Balek; Manvel, ND; Karen (Mike) Farder, Minto, ND; Mother-in-law Martha Rudnik, Minto, ND; brother-in-law Henry Rudnik, Minto, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sister Marilyn Behnke, father-in-law Johnny Rudnik and brother-in-law Raymond Rudnik. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Minto, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the church in Minto. Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Minto, ND. The Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton is in charge of the arrangements. Guest Book
