Dolores Nyberg Dolores A. Nyberg, age 91 of Grafton, ND passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the Valley Elder Care Center of Grand Forks, ND.  Dolores Adeline Stevens was born Jan. 4, 1917 in Lawton, ND the daughter of the late Andrew and Nellie (Kittleson) Stevens. She graduated from Edmore High School. Dolores was united in marriage to Oscar Nyberg on November 16, 1937 in Lakota, ND. The couple lived in Edmore, Hoople and St. Thomas, ND. In 1979 they moved to Grafton. Oscar passed away on Nov. 24, 1990 and in June of 2003 Dolores moved to Parkwood Place in Grand Forks. In October of 2005 she moved to the Valley Elder Care in Grand Forks. Dolores was a member of the Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church and WELCA of Grafton, a former member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church, St. Thomas. She was a member of the Unity Hospital Auxiliary and loved to quilt and crotchet. Dolores is survived by her children: Ronald (Marilyn) Nyberg, Grand Forks, ND; Judith Wenlund, Grand Forks, ND; John (Mary) Nyberg, Grand Forks, ND; Nancy (John) Czapiewski, Grand Forks, ND; Mary (Richard) Nelson, Grafton, ND; Thomas (Diane) Nyberg, Grand Forks, ND; Gregory (Patty) Nyberg, Williston, ND; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and siblings: Anna Grace Melland, Edmore, ND; Andy (Alice) Stevens, Moorhead, MN and Glenn (Shirley) Stevens, Fordville, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Kevin Clark and great grandson Michael Bullinger. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Grafton, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Grafton Lutheran Cemetery. The Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton is in charge of the arrangements. Guest Book
