Janice A. Johnson, age 54 of Williston, ND and formerly of Park River, ND, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks.

Janice A. Lillico, the daughter of the late Viola Lillico, was born on February 19, 1958 in Grafton, ND. She grew up and attended school there. Following her education, she married Duane Johnson in Moses Lake, WA and began raising a family. The family lived in Park River, ND until settling in Williston in 2009 where she resided until her death.

She was raised in the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, fishing and the outdoors, motorcycles, and especially her grandkids. She was a very family oriented person and loved family gatherings and holidays.

She is survived by her husband Duane Johnson, Williston, ND, children: Neil Puente (Jessica Scott), Park River, ND, Amanda (Erik) Garza, Williston, ND, Duane (Jessie) Johnson, Jr., Grafton, ND, Chad (Teresa) Johnson, Grafton, ND, Amber (Willie) White, Grand Forks, ND, 9 grandchildren, siblings: Ivon (Peter) Elizondo, West Fargo, ND, Sharon Peck, Marietta, GA, Maynard (Debbie) Lillico, Newfolden, MN, Robert Lillico, Luverne, MN, Joyce Villanueva, Grafton, ND and Theresa Lillico, Grafton, ND. She was preceded in death by her mother, Viola Lillico, sisters Donna Abrahamson and Mary Huus, and brother Carl Lillico.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5-7 with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church for one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
