Lois Henn Kozojed, age 84 of Minot, ND and formerly of Hillsboro and Grafton, ND passed away on Tuesday, April 03, 2012 at Trinity Hospital in Minot. Lois Kozojed was born August 24, 1927 in Hillsboro, ND the daughter of the late William and Mary (Kritzberger) Kozojed. She graduated in 1945 from Hillsboro High School. She married Earl Henn November 13, 1947 in Hillsboro. Earl passed away May 6, 1983. Lois married Virgil Kozojed June 6, 1986 in Hillsboro, ND. The couple made their home in Grafton. Virgil passed away May 15, 2006. Lois had a strong, quiet faith in God which is how she lived her life. Lois loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a full time homemaker and enjoyed quilting, gardening, traveling, cooking and baking. "Granna Rolls" were her specialty. She was well known for being "Grandma Henn" and used the Henn name to have much fun. She had a chicken collection and her and her family once served as Grand Marshall's in the Wayne, NE Chicken Festival Parade. She is survived by her children: Kathryn Schiele, Grand Forks, ND; Susan (Gerry) Simonson, Surrey, ND; Diane (Emanuel) Auch, Dickinson, ND; Steven (Trixie) Henn, Crosbyton, TX; Marlene (Bob) Hargrave, Douglas, ND; Tammie (Terry) Blacklance, Thief River Falls, MN; grandchildren: Seth Schiele, Shannon Simonson, Angela (Nathan) Schneider, Erica Simonson, Chad (Patty) Schmidt, Kim (Al) Kohl, Megan (Tim) Achter, Jarad Schmidt, Chloe, Keenan, Eli, Isaiah, and Kenley Henn, Lindsey (Chris) Dougherty, Jill (Jon) McLemore, Andrew and Aaron Blacklance; Great grandchildren: Bentley, Cohen, Harper, Dustin, Shelby, Waylon, Adam, Kal, Swayzee, Braeden, and Miley; her brother: Walter (LaVonne) Kozojed, Hillsboro, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, daughter Sandra and sister Maxine Muller. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 9, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church of Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Friends may also call at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Hillsboro, ND.
