Kaye Swartz

Kaye "Bugga" Swartz, age 73 of Fordville, ND passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Sanford Palliative Care in Fargo, ND. Kaye Novak was born September 9, 1942 to John H. and Gladys (Lansing) Novak. Bugga attended schools in Cleveland and Medford Townships, finishing high school in Fordville, ND. She married Gary Swartz on July 9, 1960 in Lankin, ND. She farmed with Gary, milking cows and doing field work as needed. She worked as a postal clerk in Fordville and Lawton, ND. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Altar Society. Bugga is survived by her husband, Gary, Fordville, ND; sons: Todd (Dori) Swartz, Grand Forks, ND; Tyler Swartz, Lankin, ND; sister, Evelyn (Allen) Close, Aitkin, MN; grandchildren: Cody, Tonya, Dylan, Justin, Dalton, Brody and Dustin and great grandchild, Piper. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Troy and sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Roger Fish. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Lankin, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday for one hour prior to the service at the church.
