Karey F Amundrud

Karey Amundrud, age 78 of Park River, ND, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Park River Good Samaritan Society under the care of Hospice.

Karey Dahl was born July 11, 1939 in Milton, ND, the daughter of the late Ivan and Mae (Morrison) Dahl. She grew up and attended school in Milton. She was united in marriage to Merlin Amundrud on December 20, 1960 and from that union three children were born: Leslie, Larry, and Lynda. The family lived most of their lives in Milton, Fairdale and Park River, ND.

Karey was a wonderful cook and served many home cooked meals for her family and parents. She also provided many delicious meals in the lunch rooms of local schools as well as various nursing homes.

Karey is survived by her children: Larry of Park River, ND, Lynda, husband Guido Pasquarelli, grandson Leonardo, all of White Plains, NY, siblings: Myrdena Loreth, Yakima, WA, Phyllis (Duaine) Espegard, Grand Forks, ND, Doris Klein, Fargo, ND, Leonard Dahl, Havre de Grace, MD, sisters-in-law Mary Dahl, Fountain Hills, AZ and Ann Weller Dahl, MD. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Merlin, son Leslie and special friend Adrian, brothers: Ivan and Robert, brothers-in-law Ralph Klein, Ray Loreth and sister-in-law Roberta Dahl.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
