The Tollefson Funeral Homes provides a wide selection of merchandise to meet the specific needs of all the families we are honored to serve. Our caskets, burial vaults, cremation urns and keepsake items have been selected for their craftsmanship and variety of materials. Each location has a full selection room to meet the needs of every family. Following is a brief summary of the options available at the funeral home.

Hardwood Caskets: Hardwood caskets may include choices such as mahogany, walnut, and pecan, cherry, oak and maple. We also carry a variety of other woods such as pine and poplar. These caskets are all unique in that no two are exactly alike. They are appreciated for their warmth and beauty. They are handcrafted and can be personalized for your individual needs.

Metal Caskets: Metal caskets are selected for their finish and durability. They will include materials such as bronze, copper, stainless steel and steel. The most durable steel caskets include bronze and copper. The stainless steel and steel caskets come in variety of grades and gauges. They also come in variety of colors and finishes. These caskets can also be personalized for your individual needs. All of the caskets come in variety of interior fabrics, with the most common including velvet or crepe.

Cremation Caskets: Many families choose to have the body present for the visitation and funeral prior to the cremation. We offer a wide variety of choices for our families that might select cremation services. Many of the cremation caskets are made of a variety of hardwoods including oak, ash, cherry, walnut, mahogany and maple. We also offer a variety of pine, poplar, veneer or fiberboard.

Outer Burial Containers: Outer Burial Containers or Burial Vaults also include a variety of choices ranging from economy strength, basic strength, standard strength and premium strength. There are choices of bronze, copper and stainless steel as well. We also offer outer burial containers for families that might select cremation as well. We offer a full display for families to review in our selection rooms.

Memorial Urns: We offer a wide variety of urns for the cremated remains. Many of the urns are appropriate for burial, niches, scattering, placement in your home and keepsakes. The options are unlimited and if we don’t have the appropriate urn, we can order something specific for your needs.

Monuments and Markers : We are a full service funeral provider. We offer a full line of monuments and markers for your every need. We can assist you in creating a specific memorial for your loved one in either granite or bronze. We can complete cemetery lettering, highlighting or repairs if needed.
